CANCELLED - What's New in YA Literature with Shauna Yusko - Phx

It is with deep regret that we must cancel the “What’s New in YA and Children’s Literature” trainings scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Unfortunately, Shauna has had repeated traveling delays. Shauna’s flight from Hawaii was cancelled repeatedly and she is unable to arrive in time. She is now working to reschedule her flight to arrive in time for Thursday’s trainings at Glendale Public Library.

We encourage anyone who is able to attend to register for Thursday’s training/s instead. You can find those links here:

We are also offering a virtual option on Saturday, March 7:

Again, please accept our deepest apologies for this disappointment. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Shauna Yusko is back for 2026! Discover the best Young Adult books of the year as Shauna shares her expertise. Learn practical tips for librarians and educators on incorporating both fiction and nonfiction into your lessons and storytimes, along with creative ways to tie in books already in your collection.

A DIGITAL COPY OF THE HANDBOOK WILL BE DELIVERED APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT!

You can attend one or both sessions, but separate registration is required for each
