Taiwan Art Exhibition Opening

Taiwanese art will come to life at the Arizona Capitol Museum this September. It is a must see, showcasing talented artists from the East Asian country, a mixture of traditional and contemporary.

The exhibit will feature the work of Lee Te Chen and Lee Ko Mei, a renowned artist at 91 years old. The paintings embody Taiwanese culture such as the patience of ancient calligraphy and the imagination of real life images.

In collaboration with Phoenix Sister Cities, the museum hosts two Taiwanese art showings annually that include a range of experienced and new artists. “We are proud and honored to host these wonderful artists from our Sister City of Taipei, Taiwan. These particular exhibitions provide a variety of mediums and there is always something new to see,” said Dorie Hanson, Chief Administrator of the Arizona Capitol Museum.
