Technology Ownership: Examining the Total Cost

Technology Ownership: Examining the Total Cost

Wednesday, July 7th from 11:00am-12:00pm

The cost of technology extends beyond the initial outlay of funds to purchase the tool. Library leaders need to consider the total cost of technology ownership when deciding where to allocate resources.

In this interactive and informative program Lauren will share a total cost of ownership model and provide helpful tips for how librarians can decide what technology is worth the cost.

As a result of this program attendees will learn:

  • To consider all cost factors in technology ownership
  • To make better informed decisions about how to spend funds on technology
