MCLC Tour of Arizona Christian University Beal Library

Maricopa County Library Council Continuing Education Committee Tour – Arizona Christian University Beal Library Tour

Friday, February 9th at 9AM.

In 2019, Arizona Christian University (ACU) moved from its original campus at 26th St. and Cactus Rd. to a new location at 59th Ave. and Greenway Rd., a property that was formerly the campus of the Thunderbird School of Global Management. ACU has since transformed the campus from one that served a graduate school of business to one that serves a primarily undergraduate, liberal arts university of 1,200 students. The library was also a part of this move and transformation. Join us to learn more about the library’s move, the adaptation and use of its new spaces, and its unique collections.

The campus is located at 1 W. Firestorm Way, Glendale, AZ 85306

The ACU Library is the large, crescent-shaped, peachy-pink building on the south side of campus. The building's main entrance is at its center on its campus-facing side. Parking is available in the small lot south of the library, in the guest parking lot on the southeast corner of campus, and in the uncovered lot on the east side of campus.

Maricopa County Library Council Continuing Education Committee tours are free to all library staff, and are a great way to gain new perspectives on library collections, spaces, services, and operations. Staff of all levels are encouraged to attend.
