Arizona Tribal Libraries Digital Inclusion Summit

Please join us on September 13-14 for the 2018 Arizona Tribal Libraries Digital Inclusion Summit. The theme this year will be Language and Technology, with training provided by the Arizona State Library and the American Indian Language Development Institute (AILDI) at UA. Thursday night, September 13, will be a planning meeting for next year’s Gathering of Arizona Tribal Libraries

Meals will be provided for all participants. Registration will include lodging at Ak-Chin Harrah’s for Sept 12 and 13th for full time library staff coming from more than 50 miles outside of Maricopa, AZ. Travel scholarships are available for participants more than 50 miles outside of Maricopa. Contact Nicole Umayam at numayam@azlibrary.gov if you would like a scholarship application.

This summit is designed for tribal library staff in Arizona, but is also relevant for anyone interested in using technology to support Native language access and use. 

The summit will be facilitated by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records staff and the American Indian Language Development Institute.
