*POSTPONED* Creating a Diverse Patron Collection

This webinar is for Arizona Library staff only.

In an effort to respond to the needs of an increasingly diverse community, the Cedar Rapids Public Library (Cedar Rapids, IA) conducted its first diversity audit. Using the young adult fiction collection, the team was able to pilot this audit process in 2018.

By establishing a baseline, the process of conducting an audit as well as collection development was improved over the course of one year as evidenced by the library’s second audit in 2019.

This interactive and informative program will discuss the process and results of an audit of the young adult materials including lessons learned and resources used.
