This course will be taught by Carly Lamphere. This is a two part course with an office hour between sessions.

3. Open Sourced vs. Proprietary models

a. pros/cons

b. Slightly different workflows

4. Recording “equipment”

a. Cellphones, webcams everything in between

B. How to set up a recording session/recording best practices

5. Software Demos

a. Open access

i. Screencastify/ScreenCast0Matic, Imovie (MAC Only, will mention in general overview), minitool movie maker (the PC comparable program to Imovie)

ii. “Freeish” Microsoft Stream App/Power Point

b. Proprietary-Zoom, Camtasia.

c. Best software for different recording/video needs-live capture, how to demos, promotions etc.
