Early Literacy Summit 2022 - ABCs of Early Literacy: Back to the Basics

Chandler, AZ  ~ February 3 – 4, 2022.

A two-day, in-person summit with hands-on activities and insightful sessions dedicated to the fundamentals of Early Literacy in Arizona Public Libraries.

The Early Literacy Summit 2022 will reconnect and energize Arizona library staff working with children 0-5 as we focus on the basic best practices of early literacy, parent awareness, social-emotional development, and school readiness. This will be ideal for staff that are newer to early literacy in libraries.

The Early Literacy Summit 2022 is a collaboration between the Chandler Public Library and the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and additional support from the Friends of the Chandler Library. 

Registration:  Free to attendees

  • The State Library has purchased 100 seats, providing the event at no cost to the participants.

Capacity for this event will be capped at 100. 

Meals:

Thursday, Feb. 3 ~ 8:00 am – 4:45 pm           Breakfast and Lunch provided (dinner on your own)

Friday, Feb. 4      ~ 8:00 am – 3:00 pm            Breakfast and Lunch provided
