Please join the Maricopa County Library Council Continuing Education Committee for a tour of the Asante Library in Surprise on April 8, 2022 from 9:30-10:30AM.

The Asante Library, part of the Maricopa County Library District,  opened in February 2020 in the Asante Community Park in Surprise, Arizona. Its 10,000 square feet include dedicated areas for children and teens, 16 computers, free Wi-Fi, self-service printing (including wireless printing), three reservable study rooms, and beautiful views of Asante Community Park and the White Tank Mountains.

We hope that you will join us to experience one of the newest libraries to open in Maricopa County and learn about the process of designing and opening a new library building!

The purpose of the Maricopa County Library Council Continuing Education Committee is to create and arrange for relevant, quality programming and workshops for librarians and paraprofessionals working in academic, public, school, special, and tribal libraries.
