READsquared Read-to-Me Reading Program and other year-round possibilities

Libraries that use READsquared online software are invited to attend an informational webinar to explore how to encourage early literacy skills with the Read-to-Me Reading Program.  Attendees will also discuss other year-round uses for the online software.

This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Read-to-Me Reading Program

Support learning from birth to age 5 with an early literacy program that offers parents and children the opportunity to log their reading, singing, talking, writing, and playing! Built on the foundation of these five practices, the Read-to-Me program gives parents and caregivers the tools to help children develop early literacy skills. Program includes a banner for your home page, five fun-filled missions,16 participation badges, age-appropriate reading lists, a completion certificate, and links to picture book read-aloud videos.

With your READsquared subscription, you can add this year-round program to your site at any time, for the timeframe that works best for your library, free of charge. Navigate to Programs > Program Theme > Import Programs. Detailed instructions are available in your knowledge base

Interested in more children's programming? The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program is also available for download. This program encourages families to read and log 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten. Participants can use their READsquared login for more than one program at a time, and can easily add additional programs to their accounts
