Please join the Maricopa County Library Council Continuing Education Committee for a tour of the newly constructed Georgia T. Lord Library in Goodyear!

The Georgia T. Lord Library is a 24,000 sq. ft., two-story library which opened in August, 2022. The library features a treehouse themed children’s area, more than 30 public computers, eight study rooms, the Innovation Hub, a dedicated teen space, and a self-service café. The library features numerous seating and study areas, including the grand staircase which has seating all along the side of the stairs.

Tours of other libraries are a great way to pick up new ideas and gain new perspectives in a friendly, casual environment.
